The Detroit Stormwater Hub resources page is a collection of educational resources, stories, and tools designed to provide a comprehensive body of local information to support GSI work throughout Detroit. These resources were collected by the Advisory Group in an effort to provide reliable, accurate information on Green Stormwater Infrastructure.

Oudolf Garden Detroit and its 501(c)(3) organization Friends of Oudolf Garden is a volunteer-led effort dedicated to placing and maintaining a Piet Oudolf-designed garden on Belle Isle in Detroit. Piet Oudolf is the internationally renowned Dutch garden designer and horticulturist who created the planting designs for the High Line in New York City and the Lurie Garden in Chicago. His public gardens transform people and places.

Project Overview: Far West Detroit Stormwater Improvement Project
DWSD will be making a significant investment in the Far West Detroit neighborhood to remove rain and snow melt from the combined system and reduce CSO discharge. This will entail a multi-year construction project, which will be implemented in phases for minimal disruption to the neighborhood. Construction began in May 2022.
